Citizens Memorial Healthcare hosting women's health event Nov. 9

Citizens Memorial Healthcare will host Five Things Every Woman Should Know About Her Body - a Girls Night In event from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 9, in the CMH Community Rooms at 1500 N. Oakland Ave. Dr. D. Shelly Meents from Bolivar OB/GYN will speak. The event includes food, door prizes and a massage therapist providing neck massages. Cost is $7 per person, and reservations are requested.

Girls Night In is an annual CMH event held each November. Past topics have included menopause and heart disease. Each May, CMH and Butterfield Park Pediatrics host a Mother/Tween Daughter Girls Night In. Other CMH events focusing on women’s health include Lunch and Learns, Spread the Red Luncheon each February and the annual Pink Bag Luncheon in October.
